3Rd Generation Ipod Touch : Awesome!
The 3rd generation ipod touch is a totally fun and cool device that I have really enjoyed since I bought 3rd generation ipod touch from Amazon about a month ago. It arrived quickly and in perfect, brand new condition. It’s really a ton of fun, and the perfect device to use for games, music, and social networks. Here’s some quick pro’s and con’s of the 3rd generation ipod touch 8GB.
Pros:
-Looks sleek and is surprisingly durable. Very portable…however I did buy a case just to add some protection.
-Very easy to use. Didn’t take me long to figure out how to use it at all.
-Sounds great!
-Very easy to use with itunes.
-Great image quality.
-Usually the internet is pretty fast.
-Really fun!!!
-Lots of apps (many are even free!) that make it easy to play games, keep track of work schedule, use social networks such as facebook and twitter, and do easy online shopping. The apps are one of the things that make this ipod so great.
Cons:
-No Camera. This would really be a great feature. It would be so neat to be able to take pictures and post on facebook, email the picture, set as backround… ect. It is a pain to have to download pictures onto the ipod from my computer.
-Battery Life. As long as I am just listening to music, it lasts a long time. But if I go onto the internet, or even use the apps, sometimes the battery life can be as low as a few hours.
-Screen gets very dirty and greasy quickly. I had to buy a screen protector, just because I wanted the screen to stay safe and clean.
-One of my computers did not recognize it. Though I do not know if this is a problem with the 3rd generation ipod touch or my computer, it is definitly a bummer.
I would say that the pros outweigh the cons. While the cons are smaller things that can be dealt with, I really have enjoyed the ipod. It is so much fun, very easy to use, and even useful for things like checking weather, sending emails, ect.
Amazon has made the 3rd generation ipod touch more affordable. You can save nearly $30 by ordering it off of amazon vs. apple because the price is already lower, plus you do not have to worry about tax. I’m glad I bought this 3rd generation ipod touch, and I would recommend this device for anyone looking for a fun, easy to use ipod with lots of fun extras like apps, email, and even more.
